Meet senior designated player Kennedy Rhue, a Charleston native who transferred from Presbyterian College and has become a key player for the Cougs. This season, Kennedy has delivered impressive numbers, hitting .305 with 36 hits and 19 RBIs over 43 games.
Charleston (27-23, 17-7 CAA) has enjoyed an outstanding year, completing four home sweeps and earning their sixth series win of the season on Sunday against Campbell. Their 17 conference victories tie the program's all-time record, originally set in 2005 during the Cougars' SoCon era.
